Options With Learning has been operating in the Capital District since 1993.

OWL is approved by the New York State Department of Health to provide early intervention services and diagnostic evaluations in the areas of Speech, Special Education and services for the blind/visually impaired.

OWL provides services for school age children in a variety of areas including multisensory reading, writing, grammar, math instruction, consultant teacher direct/indirect services and speech and language therapy.

OWL works with school districts and parents in developing Individualized Educational Plans (IEP) that reflect the students’ needs. OWL supports the development of specific, measurable goals and implements instruction that is both sequential and cumulative. We do LLD evaluations and AT evaluations for students.

• OWL is an approved Supplemental Service Provider under the No Child Left Behind Act.

• Owl serves students in both public and private schools as well as those in home and hospital settings.

• Options With Learning, LLC is excited to announce that we will now be providing services in the Utica/Rome area. OWL provides services for clients age 3-adult in a variety of areas including speech and language therapy, assistive technology including assessment and review, treatment and device training, work in phonemic awareness, instruction in multisensory reading, writing, and grammar, as well as consultative services.

Speech & Language


Comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services are available for students with articulation and oral motor delays as well as language impairments.
Clinical specialty areas include: auditory training and aural rehabilitation with hearing aid and cochlear implant users; treatment of Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia; oral motor disorders; language based learning disabilities; and fluency.
